Commencement of Battery Installation Work at Nagasaki Power Plant
TOUCHI INTERNATIONAL CORP. has commenced installation work on a battery storage system at a solar power plant installed in Nagasaki Prefecture, with the aim of effectively utilizing renewable energy. This work is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2025.

Overview of the Installation Work
This installation work will introduce a high-capacity lithium-ion battery storage system along with accompanying power conditioners, transformer equipment, and monitoring and control systems. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with existing solar power generation facilities, enabling efficient storage and utilization of generated electricity. In carrying out the work, priority is given to consideration for the surrounding environment and ensuring safety.
Purpose of the Installation and Expected Effects
The introduction of the battery storage system aims to smooth out the output fluctuations of solar power generation, reduce the load on the grid, and maximize value in the electricity market. Specifically, by storing electricity during periods when generation exceeds demand and discharging during periods of high demand, a significant improvement in the economics of renewable energy is expected.
